Our Mission

Student Affairs works collaboratively with the University colleagues, faculty, students and staff to provide a broad array of academic and student services, programs, activities and opportunities, which are responsive to the dynamic nature of the educational process, and which will enrich the academic experience for its diverse graduate and undergraduate student population. This broad array of services and programs embodies the School’s concern for all phases of student development and the diversity of student needs.

Consonant with this mission is the belief that each student is an individual, who, while maturing intellectually, is also developing personally and professionally. It is in the celebration of human difference that Student Affairs professionals are committed to the growth and planned development of the whole person. In particular, the mission of Student Affairs is to assist students to become active participants in their personal growth and in the achievement of their educational objectives.
