Wazhmah Osman, NYU Steinhardt Media, Culture, and Communication PhD candidate, received two research awards for the completion of her dissertation research: the FLAS (Foreign Language & Area Studies) award, and also the NYU-University of Cambridge Mainzer Fellowship in Gender Studies.
