The second level in which students participate in the Center is through their year-long academic internship. These students 1) attend weekly training seminars in clinical theory and practice, improvisational resources and techniques, and group music therapy; 2) participate in group and individual Music Therapy sessions and documentation of these sessions, eventually acquiring their own caseloads;3) obtain weekly supervision from experienced Internship Supervisors; and 4) assist in video taping sessions. Only those students enrolled in Masters level music therapy programs are eligible for participation in the intern program.
