Alumni Bio Celina Charlier

Celina Bordallo Charlier (M.A., Flute Performance, 2002) After completing her masters degree in flute performance at NYU, Celina was accepted into the Ph.D. program in music performance in our department. She began her professional career as a soloist and chamber musician at the age of 15 and has played with the "Orquestra Sinfônica Juvenil do Estado de São Paulo", conducted by J.M.Galindo, the "Orquestra Jovem da LBV", conducted by Ricardo Averbach, and with the chamber orchestra "Cordas e Companhia", conducted by Marcos Câmara.
