Dr. Noguera announced yesterday that Metro Center has been awarded a generous grant from the Donor's Education Collaborative to create the Advocacy Coalition on the Status of Black and Latino Males. The goal of this coalition is to bring attention to what is occurring to Black and Latino males in NYC public schools, build a public dialogue on their status, and propose clear policy reform to NYCDOE.
