About HEPR

Health Education Professional Resources (HEPR) is designed to help health educators and students to access  information about the health education profession which may be useful for professional practice.  The various categories of HEPR are:
1) Job Postings
2) Health-Related Organizations
3) Mailing Lists and Bulletin Board Services
4) National Credentialing Agencies
5) Professional Associations
6) Professional Calendar
7) Professional Preparation Programs
8) Resources for Health Education
9) What's New!
Any part of HEPR may be used for academic purposes. However, we ask that you give proper credit and send us a note, telling us how you are using HEPR. HEPR may be an excellent source of information for health education students to learn how to use computers and to familiarize themselves with the World Wide Web. Also, it may be a useful teaching tool for professional preparation and development programs.

We would like to thank Dr. Pat O'Hara and Mr. Mike Cosaboom at Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), Tisch School of Arts, New York University, for their technical assistance in the early development of HEPR and for the use of the computer facilities at ITP.

We thank the following individuals for making significant contributions to the development of HEPR:
1996-97: Eric R. Garrison
1997-98: Roberta Consuelo Swenson
